Things I thought of while walking my dogs

 It's the day of the general election in the UK and I have voting to do. It's been cold, wet, windy and sunny today. I don't know how that will affect turnout. As well as voting for myself, I'm casting a proxy vote for someone else. There's a lot of that going on today, especially up here in Scotland. The schools are off for the Summer and families have gone away on holiday. Hopefully to somewhere warm, dry and sunny. I'm voting in two different constituencies and for two different parties. Double the checking to make sure I haven't voted for the bams by accident. There are a lot of them standing this year. Just like every other year. The dogs aren't allowed in the polling station. Again, just like every other year. Not that they care about democracy. They would probably vote Green, but I might be projecting. Any party that pledges to protect green spaces, keep the air clean and protect children and the elderly (their two favourite types of human), would...
